Meet the Crew!

One of the main areas of focus for Arlene and I during all our course development, is the idea of community and mutual support among fiber artists. In the context of our ‘Heroes Journey’,  community is what we think of as our ‘crew’, the people who are willing to cast off with us and sail together into the unknown, ready to face whatever should befall us, back to back, shoulder to shoulder.  I don’t believe that creativity thrives in isolation,

Monday afternoon progress report! Arlene is in San Francisco, pretty much exactly where I would like to be right now too! We currently have storm conditions in the Netherlands, while I am absolutely positive that Arlene is swanning around SF under clear sunshiny blue skies, listening to tram bells and enjoying some good food (Rice A Roni!!!) and, you know, sparkling waters over the bay stuff… So it’s just me (Suzy) posting today,  left here in the cold and dark

Hello and welcome to the FiberyGoodness.com blogpage! As this is our very first post here I (WoolWench) would like to tell you a little bit about what we have been busy doing these last weeks, or rather, months! My utterly fantabulous partner in Fibery Goodness is Arlene, of Spin Artiste. Together we have been plotting, planning and producing an entirely new kind of Fibery Goodness course, one which has us both running-in-circles excited 🙂 It has been quite a process
