New Purchase Option!

New Purchase Option!

Since the very beginning of tinyStudio, I have kept all our current issues available to subscribers only. We LOVE our subscribers, their support is what keeps us going from issue to issue, video podcast to video podcast 🙂 I want to be sure that our subscribers know just how much we appreciate that support. Over time, I decided it would be great to share the magazine to a wider audience, perhaps there were people out there who did not want

Issue 8 Is Among Us!

I am very proud to bring you our August 2020 Issue of tinyStudio Creative Life Magazine! Our wonderful cover for this issue was provided by Lauren and Kass Hernandez of ‘Crossing Threads’, I love the story this image tells, and it is followed beautifully a feature article that will get you thinking about weaving, their work is dramatic and bold, with incredible detail and textures. It is always an exciting moment, to share the news that the issue we have been working hard on for the last three months is finally ready to share with all our wonderful subscribers! Going to Print Update

Going to Print Update

It is time to make hard decisions, I am sure I am not the only one faced with these at the moment. Over the last couple of months I have been working really hard to get us ready to go to print with our next tinyStudio Creative Life magazine issue. I have had each issue printed as a one off just for myself and Evanita, and it is an absolute thrill to get it in my hands. The drive to

What We Can DO

What We Can DO

As the world is slowing down and we are more and more confined to keep our families and communities safe, many of us are worrying about how we can remain connected with our friends, our fiber groups, and keep our creative lives positive. One of the very earliest goals we had for Fiberygoodness when we got started in 2013 was to be a connection point for people all around the world, understanding that not everyone has a social spinning group

Getting Print Ready (steady.. go!)

Getting Print Ready (steady.. go!)

Today I posted on our Facebook group about the anxiety I have been feeling as I get everything set up ready to move into adding print magazine issues to our subscription options for tinyStudio Creative Life magazine! I am at the stage where the numbers seem overwhelming, the financial commitment is daunting, and the usual self doubt nibbles away to undermine my confidence about being able to inspire enough people to subscribe to cover the print and distribution costs! eeeek!

2018 Round-up

2018 Round-up

First lets start with something festive!  Actually, beyond the image above, I don’t know quite where to start, this year has been eventful! At the beginning of 2018 all I knew was that I had ideas, that the website needed updating and refreshing, and the vague feeling that in order to increase my creative time I needed to put my ideas about simplification and organisation into practice! Added to this the ongoing parenting involved in getting a ten year old

tinyStudio Creative Life Magazine Giveaway!

I need to start by saying this is a dream come true, creating the fibery magazine that I have always wanted to read! And after a very long time in the planning, our website is reignited and the very first issue is out with subscribers. I can breathe again 🙂 I am over the moon thrilled with how Issue One has come together, Evanita and I found such a variety of incredible artists who share beautiful insights into their processes
